✧ The command to clean the houses

قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيِّبِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ إِلْيَاسَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، قَالَ:

إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى طَيِّبٌ يُحِبُّ الطَّيِّبَ، نَظِيفٌ يُحِبُّ النَّظَافَةَ، كَرِيمٌ يُحِبُّ الْكَرِيمَ، جَوَادٌ يُحِبُّ الْجُودَ، فَنَظِّفُوا أَفْنِيَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَشَبَّهُوا بِالْيَهُودِ الَّتِي تَجْمَعُ الْأَكْبَاءَ فِي دُورِهَا ".

✧ Indeed Allah, exalted is He, is good and loves the good, clean and loves cleanliness, generous and loves generosity, magnanimous and loves magnanimity, so clean your courtyards and do not resemble the Jews who gather rubbish in their homes."
