وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَوْصَابِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَكْثَمَ بْنَ الْجَوْنِ الْخُزَاعِيَّ الْكَعْبِيَّ، يَقُولُ:
قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يَا أَكْثَمُ بْنَ الْجَوْنِ، اغْزُ مَعَ غَيْرِ قَوْمِكَ يَحْسُنْ خُلُقُكَ، وَتَكْرُمْ عَلَى رُفَقَائِكَ
