✧ Yazid b. Shajara stood among his companions and said: 'It has come upon you morning and evening from among red, green, and yellow, and in the graves is what is in them. When you meet the enemy tomorrow, advance, advance! For I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A man does not advance a step but the houris of Paradise advance toward him. If he retreats, they retreat. If he is martyred, the first splash of blood is an expiation for his sins, and two houris descend to him, shake off the dust from him, and say: Welcome, your time has come. And he says: Welcome, your time has come.'
