machine translationAs for some of our teachers, after mentioning it as ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq mentioned it, with a good chain in which there is nothing to be examined except the ʿanʿanah (transmission with "from") of al-Thawrī from Hishām Abū Kulayb, and Hishām is trustworthy (thiqah), and the like of this does not fall short of the rank of good (ḥasan), if it does not reach the rank of authentic (ṣaḥīḥ), he said: "And I hope that it is authentic (ṣaḥīḥ), God willing."

    in المطالب العالية, p. 1700
