وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ، ثَنَا مَيْسَرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ السَّعْدِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَا:
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا طَوِيلًا - وَفِيهِ: وَمَنْ أَكَلَ الرِّبَا مَلَأَ اللهُ بَطْنَهُ نَارًا بِقَدْرِ مَا أَكَلَ، وَإِنْ كَسَبَ مِنْهُ مَالًا لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ شَيْئًا مِنْ عَمَلِهِ، وَلَمْ يَزَلْ فِي لَعْنَةِ اللهِ تَعَالَى وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ مَا دَامَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْهُ قِيرَاطٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned a long hadith – in which he said: Whoever consumes usury, Allah will fill his belly with fire according to how much he consumed. And if he earns wealth from it, Allah will not accept anything of his deeds, and he will remain under the curse of Allah and His angels as long as he has a carat of it.
