✧ The most frequent supplication of mine and of the prophets before me at Arafah was: 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable. O Allah, place light in my hearing, light in my sight, and light in my heart. O Allah, expand my chest and ease my affair. I seek refuge in You from the whisperings of the chests and the scattering of affairs. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what enters the night, from the evil of what enters the day, from the evil of what the winds blow, and from the evil of the calamities of time.'
