machine translationIt was narrated thus as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ), but raising it is an error (wahm), and the correct view is that it is a statement of a Companion (mawqūf). Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sulamī told me this, from Abū al-Ḥasan al-Dāraquṭnī.
