✧ What the One in Ihram Must Avoid

قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ، وَأُمِّهِ

أَنَّهُمَا دَخَلَتَا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ؓ وَعَلَيْهَا دِرْعٌ مُوَرَّدٌ، وَخِمَارٌ أَسْوَدُ، فَقِيلَ لَهَا: أَتُغَطِّي الْمُحْرِمَةُ وَجْهَهَا ؟ فَرَفَعَتْ خِمَارَهَا هَكَذَا مِنْ قِبَلِ صَدْرِهَا إِلَى رَأْسِهَا، وَقَالَتْ: لَا بَأْسَ بِهَذَا

Translation

✧ The two of them entered upon 'A'ishah ؓ while she was wearing a rose-colored shift and a black khimar. She was asked, "Does a woman in ihram cover her face?" She raised her khimar like this from her chest to her head and said, "There is no harm in this."
