✧ The Pre-Dawn Meal

قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِ ابْنَيْ حَبِيبٍ، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسُّحُورِ ; فَإِنَّهُ الْغَدَاءُ الْمُبَارَكُ، وَأَسْفِرُوا بِهِ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ، وَتَسَحَّرُوا، وَلَوْ بِجَرْعَةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ

Translation

  2. Abū Bakr b. ʿAbdullāh
  3. Ḍamrah And -al-Muhājir Āb.ay Ḥabīb
  4. In Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ You must take the pre-dawn meal, for it is the blessed meal; and delay it as much as you can, and make the pre-dawn meal even if with a gulp of water.
