وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا فُرَاتُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:
آخِرُ مَا كَبَّرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ أَرْبَعًا، وَكَبَّرَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ ؓ أَرْبَعًا، وَكَبَّرَ الْحَسَنُ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ ؓ أَرْبَعًا، وَكَبَّرَ الْحُسَيْنُ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ ؓ أَرْبَعًا، وَكَبَّرَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ عَلَى يَزِيدَ الْمُكَفَّفِ أَرْبَعًا، وَكَبَّرَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَلَى أَبِيهِ ؓ أَرْبَعًا، وَكَبَّرَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى آدَمَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ أَرْبَعًا، وَكَبَّرَ ابْنُ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ بِالطَّائِفِ أَرْبَعًا

✧ The last takbir the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said over funerals was four. Abu Bakr ؓ said the takbir over Fatimah ؓ four times. Al-Hasan said the takbir over Ali ؓ four times. Al-Husayn said the takbir over Al-Hasan ؓ four times. Ali ؓ said the takbir over Yazid al-Mukaffaf four times. Abdullah b. Umar said the takbir over his father ؓ four times. The angels said the takbir over Adam (peace be upon them) four times. Ibn al-Hanafiyyah said the takbir over Ibn Abbas ؓ in Ta'if four times.
