machine translationShuʿbah narrates it from Qatādah, from Yūnus b. Jubayr, from Muḥammad b. Saʿd, from his father Saʿd. Ḥammād b. Salamah narrated it from Qatādah, from ʿUmar b. Saʿd, from Saʿd, and he was mistaken in it; the correct view is the view of Shuʿbah and those who followed him from Qatādah. Muḥammad b. Khālid al-Wahbī said, from Ziyād al-Jaṣṣāṣ, from Qatādah, from Muḥammad b. Saʿd, from Saʿd, from the Prophet ﷺ. It was also said, from Ziyād al-Jaṣṣāṣ, from Muʿāwiyah b. Qurrah, from Muḥammad b. Saʿd, from Saʿd, from the Prophet ﷺ. The sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version is the hadith of Shuʿbah.
