machine translationWuhayb, Ibn ʿUlayyah and Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated it, saying: from Ayyūb, from ʿIkrimah, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, and they do not mention Ibn Sīrīn. My father said: If the hadith of Ibn al-Ṭabbāʿ is preserved (maḥfūẓ), then it is odd (gharīb). And I think that someone other than Ibn al-Ṭabbāʿ has narrated it from Ḥammād without mentioning Ibn Sīrīn.

  • Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī

machine translationThe sound (ṣaḥīḥ) report is from ʿIkrimah, from Abū Hurayrah, rather than the hadith of ʿIkrimah from Ibn ʿAbbās.
