أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:

وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَإِنِّي أَنْظُرُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مَا أَكَادُ أَنْ أَرَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ، وَأَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ تُصَلُّونَ فِي اثْنَيْنِ وَثَلَاثَةٍ

✧ By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurayrah, I have seen myself in the mosque, hardly seeing a man praying in two garments, while today you pray in two and three.
