✧ Indeed we did not know what to say in every two rak'ahs except to glorify, magnify, and praise our Lord. Muhammad was taught the openings of good and its comprehensive words. He said: 'When you sit in every two rak'ahs, say: All greetings, prayers, and good things are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Then one of you may choose whatever supplication pleases him and supplicate with it.'
