✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught him the tashahhud in prayer. He said: We used to memorize it from 'Abd Allah b. Mas'ud just as we memorized the letters of the Qur'an, the waw and the alif. When he sat on his left hip, he said: 'All greetings, prayers, and good words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.' Then he would supplicate for himself, then give the salutation and leave.
