أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْنَا الْقُرْآنَ، فَيَقْرَأُ السُّورَةَ فِيهَا السَّجْدَةُ فَيَسْجُدُ وَنَسْجُدُ مَعَهُ، حَتَّى لَا يَجِدَ أَحَدُنَا مَكَانًا لِجَبِينِهِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to recite the Qur'an to us. He would recite a surah containing a sajdah (prostration verse), then he would prostrate and we would prostrate with him, until one of us could not find a place for his forehead.
