612 532 532 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ:

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِهَذَا. وَهَذَا خَطَأٌ فَاحِشٌ، وَالْخَبَرُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ سَيَّارِ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ، كَذَا رَوَاهُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْحُفَّاظُ الَّذِينَ الْحَدِيثُ صِنَاعَتُهُمْ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Ṭāhir
  2. Abū Bakr
  3. Aḥmad b. Manīʿ
  4. Yaʿqūb b. Ibrāhīm

✧ Sulaymān al-Taymī narrated to us, from Anas, from the Messenger of God ﷺ, this. This is a gross mistake. The report is only from Sulaymān, from Abū al-Minhāl Sayyār b. Salāmah, from Abū Barzah. Thus narrated those ḥuffāẓ whose craft is ḥadīth.
