✧ Recommendation of praying Fajr in the dark (Taghlis)

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، وَالْمَخْزُومِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ أَحْمَدُ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وَقَالَ الْآخَرَانِ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

كُنَّ نِسَاءُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يُصَلِّينَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ، ثُمَّ يَخْرُجْنَ مُتَلَفِّعَاتٍ بِمُرُوطِهِنَّ مَا يُعْرَفْنَ ". زَادَ أَحْمَدُ: ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الْغَلَسَ

✧ "The believing women used to pray the Morning Prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then they would leave wrapped in their cloaks, unrecognizable." Ahmad added: "Then he mentioned the darkness (ghalas)."
