✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I met a woman in the garden and embraced her, touched her, and kissed her, and did everything with her except that I did not have intercourse with her." The Prophet ﷺ fell silent, and this verse was revealed: "Indeed, good deeds remove evil deeds. That is a reminder for those who remember." So the Prophet ﷺ called him and recited it to him. Umar said: "O Messenger of Allah, is this for him specifically or for all people?" He said: "No, rather for all people."
