حَدَّثَنَاهُ يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ ابْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ بِعَرَفَاتٍ مَعَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُهُ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَاقِفًا مَوْقِفَهُ ذَلِكَ، فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّ اللهَ وَفَّقَهُ لِذَلِكَ

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the pre-Islamic era while he was standing at 'Arafat with the polytheists, then I saw him in Islam standing at that same place of his, and I knew that Allah had granted him success in that.
