✧ Permissibility of 'Umrah in Dhu al-Hijjah after the days of Tashriq have passed

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَهُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ النَّاسُ يَحْلِقُونَ فِي الْحَجِّ، ثُمَّ يَعْتَمِرُونَ عِنْدَ النَّفْرِ، فَيَقُولُ: مَا يَحْلِقُ هَذَا ؟ فَنَقُولُ لِأَحَدِهِمْ: أَمِرَّ الْمُوسَى عَلَى رَأْسِكَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ shaved his head in the Farewell Pilgrimage. He said: And the people used to shave during Hajj, then perform 'Umrah at the time of departure, so he would say: What is this one shaving? So we would say to one of them: Pass the razor over your head.
