✧ The desirability of setting out in the latter part of the night from al-Hasbah

حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ - يَعْنِي الْحَنَفِيَّ [قَالَ ]: حَدَّثَنَا أَفْلَحُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ:
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ، وَقَالَ فِي الْخَبَرِ: فَأَذَّنَ بِالرَّحِيلِ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ - يَعْنِي مِنَ الْمُحَصَّبِ - فَارْتَحَلَ النَّاسُ فَمَرَّ بِالْبَيْتِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَطَافَ بِهِ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، فَرَكِبَ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ مُتَوَجِّهًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ

✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he mentioned the hadith in full, and he said in the report: Then he announced the departure among his companions – meaning from al-Muhassab – and the people departed. He passed by the House before the morning prayer, circumambulated it, then went out, mounted, and then left heading toward Madinah.
