Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 3260

✧ evidence that the Prophet ﷺ only granted the shepherds concession to omit the stoning of the Jamarat

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَنَّ مَالِكًا أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ:

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَرْخَصَ لِرِعَاءِ الْإِبِلِ فِي الْبَيْتُوتَةِ يَرْمُونَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ يَرْمُونَ الْغَدَ أَوْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَدِ لِيَوْمَيْنِ، ثُمَّ يَرْمُونَ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted concession to camel herders regarding the overnight stay: they stone on the Day of Sacrifice, then they stone the next day or the day after for two days, then they stone on the Day of Departure.
