✧ one who performed a rite before another out of ignorance

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، وَالصَّنْعَانِيُّ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسْأَلُ يَوْمَ مِنًى فَيَقُولُ: لَا حَرَجَ، لَا حَرَجَ فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: حَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَذْبَحَ، فَقَالَ: " لَا حَرَجَ "، قَالَ: رَمَيْتُ بَعْدَ مَا أَمْسَيْتُ قَالَ: " لَا حَرَجَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was being asked on the day of Mina and he would say, 'No harm, no harm.' A man asked him and said, 'I shaved before I slaughtered.' He said, 'No harm.' He said, 'I threw after evening came.' He said, 'No harm.'
