Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 3204

✧ The hady goes astray, another is slaughtered in its place, then the first is found

حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا سَاقَتْ بَدَنَتَيْنِ فَأَضَلَّتْهُمَا فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهَا ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ بِبَدَنَتَيْنِ فَنَحَرَتْهُمَا، ثُمَّ وَجَدَتِ الْبَدَنَتَيْنِ الْأُولَتَيْنِ، فَنَحَرَتْهُمَا أَيْضًا، ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: هَكَذَا السُّنَّةُ فِي الْبُدْنِ

Translation

✧ She drove two sacrificial camels and lost them, so Ibn al-Zubayr sent her two camels and she slaughtered them. Then she found the first two camels and slaughtered them as well. Then she said: This is the sunnah regarding sacrificial camels.
