✧ Concession for women to throw the pebbles before dawn

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ؛ ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ:

أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ، نَزَلَتْ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ دَارَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ، فَقَامَتْ تُصَلِّي، فَقَالَتْ: يَا بُنَيَّ ! قُمِ انْظُرْ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ ؟ قُلْتُ: لَا، فَصَلَّتْ، ثُمَّ قَالَتُ: يَا بُنَيَّ انْظُرْ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَتِ: ارْتَحِلْ، فَارْتَحَلْنَا فَرَمَيْنَا الْجَمْرَةَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّتِ الْغَدَاةَ فِي مَنْزِلِهَا، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهَا: يَا هَنَتَاهُ ! لَقَدْ رَمَيْنَا الْجَمْرَةَ بِلَيْلٍ. قَالَتْ: كُنَّا نَصْنَعُ هَذَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ. هَذَا حَدِيثُ بُنْدَارٍ. وَقَالَ ابْنُ مَعْمَرٍ

✧ Asma' stopped on the night of Jam' at the abode of al-Muzdalifah, and she stood to pray. She said, 'O my son, get up and see if the moon has set.' I said, 'No.' She prayed, then she said, 'O my son, see if the moon has set.' I said, 'Yes.' She said, 'Depart.' So we departed and threw the Jamrah, then she prayed the morning prayer at her dwelling. He said: I said to her, 'O dear woman, we threw the Jamrah at night.' She said, 'We used to do this with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' This is the hadith of Bundar. And Ibn Ma'mar said...
