✧ Standing at al-Mash'ar al-Haram and Supplication, Remembrance, Tahlil, Glorification, and Magnification of Allah in That

قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي سُرَيْجٍ الرَّازِيِّ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مُجَمِّعٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ رَاحِلَتُهُ عِنْدَ مَسْجِدِ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ أَهَلَّ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، وَقَالَ: يَبِيتُ - يَعْنِي بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ - حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ، ثُمَّ يَقِفَ عِنْدَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ، وَيَقِفُ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ يَدْعُونَ اللهَ وَيَذْكُرُونَهُ وَيُهَلِّلُونَهُ وَيُمَجِّدُونَهُ وَيُعَظِّمُونَهُ حَتَّى يَدْفَعَ إِلَى مِنًى

Translation

✧ When his mount stood upright with him at the mosque of Dhul-Hulayfah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered ihram – and he mentioned the hadith – and he said: He spent the night – meaning at Muzdalifah – until morning, then prayed the morning prayer, then stood at al-Mash'ar al-Haram, and the people stood with him, supplicating Allah, remembering Him, declaring His oneness, glorifying Him, and magnifying Him, until he departed to Mina.
