✧ The Prophet's Mention of the Corner Meant the Black Stone Itself

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبُو زَيْدٍ الْأَحْوَلُ - عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ لِهَذَا الْحَجَرِ لِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ يَشْهَدُ لِمَنِ اسْتَلَمَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِحَقٍّ

✧ Indeed, this stone has a tongue and two lips, testifying on the Day of Resurrection for one who touched it in truth.
