✧ The Takbir Each Time One Reaches the Stone

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ خَالِدٍ - وَهُوَ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ، كُلَّمَا أَتَى عَلَى الرُّكْنِ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ بِشَيْءٍ فِي يَدِهِ وَكَبَّرَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ circumambulated the House while on a camel. Each time he came to the corner, he pointed to it with something in his hand and said the takbīr.
