✧ Weeping when kissing the Black Stone

حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
اسْتَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْحَجَرَ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ شَفَتَيْهِ عَلَيْهِ يَبْكِي طَوِيلًا، فَالْتَفَتُّ، فَإِذَا هُوَ بِعُمَرَ يَبْكِي، فَقَالَ: " يَا عُمَرُ ! هَاهُنَا تُسْكَبُ الْعَبَرَاتُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ faced the Stone and touched it, then placed his lips upon it weeping for a long time. I turned and there was Umar weeping. He said: 'O Umar! Here tears are shed.'
