✧ Raising the hands upon leaving the mosque

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَزَعَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي: سُوَيْدُ بْنُ حُجَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُهَاجِرُ بْنُ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ:

سَأَلْنَا جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقْضِي صَلَاتَهُ وَطَوَافَهُ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ [الْحَرَامِ ] فَيَسْتَقْبِلُ الْبَيْتَ، فَقَالَ: مَا كُنْتُ أَرَى يَفْعَلُ هَذَا إِلَّا الْيَهُودَ

Translation

✧ We asked Jabir b. Abdullah about a man who finishes his prayer and his tawaf, then leaves the Sacred Mosque and faces the House. He said: 'I did not think anyone does this except the Jews.'
