✧ When you travel in fertile land, give the mounts their share of grazing, and do not pass by the stopping places. When you travel in barren land, hasten, and upon you is the night journey, for the earth is folded up at night. When the ghuls waylay you, hasten to prayer. Beware of stopping to sleep on the main roads and praying on them, for they are the abodes of snakes and beasts, and relieving oneself on them, for they are the places of cursing.
