حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ لَحْمٌ، فَقَالَ: " أَلَمْ أَرَ لَكُمْ بُرْمَةً ؟ "، قُلْتُ: بَلَى، ذَاكَ لَحْمٌ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَهُوَ مِنْهَا هَدِيَّةٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me and food was brought that had no meat. He said: "Did I not see a pot for you?" I said: "Yes, but that is meat that was given as charity to Barirah." He said: "It is charity for her, and a gift from her to us."
