حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

سَبَقَ دِرْهَمٌ مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ يَسْبِقُ دِرْهَمٌ مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ ؟ قَالَ: " رَجُلٌ كَانَ لَهُ دِرْهَمَانِ، فَأَخَذَ أَحَدَهُمَا فَتَصَدَّقَ بِهِ، وَآخَرُ لَهُ مَالٌ كَثِيرٌ فَأَخَذَ مِنْ عَرَضِهَا مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ

✧ A dirham has surpassed a hundred thousand. They said: “O Messenger of Allah, how can a dirham surpass a hundred thousand?” He said: “A man who had two dirhams took one of them and gave it in charity, and another man who had much wealth took from its abundance a hundred thousand.”
