✧ The collective chapters of the charity of the breaking of the fast in Ramadan

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُزَيْزٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلَامَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: أَنَّهُ

كَانَ يُخْرِجُ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ قَالَ: جَعَلَ النَّاسُ عِدْلَ الشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرِ مُدَّيْنِ مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ

Translation

✧ He used to give Zakat al-Fitr as a Sa' of dates or a Sa' of barley, and that 'Abd Allah said: "The people made the equivalent of barley and dates as two Mudds of wheat."
