✧ The Prophet ﷺ intended to perform spiritual retreat, so 'A'ishah asked his permission to retreat with him, and he permitted her. She pitched her tent, and Hafsah asked her to seek permission for her to retreat with him. When Zaynab saw it, she pitched a tent with them, and she was a jealous woman. The Messenger of God ﷺ saw their tents and said: "What is this? Do they intend piety by this?" So he abandoned the retreat until he broke his fast from Ramadan, then he retreated for ten days in Shawwal.
