حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ امْرَأَةً رَكِبَتِ الْبَحْرَ، فَنَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَصُومَ شَهْرًا، فَمَاتَتْ، فَسَأَلَ أَخُوهَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَصُومَ عَنْهَا

✧ A woman rode the sea and vowed to fast a month, then she died. Her brother asked the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to fast on her behalf.
