✧ People entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was ill, and he prayed with them sitting, so they prayed standing. He gestured to them to sit, and said: 'The imam is only to be followed. When he prays sitting, pray sitting; when he prays standing, pray standing; when he bows, bow; when he prostrates, prostrate; and when he rises, rise.'
