أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُشَّانَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ الرَّجُلُ، ثُمَّ مَرَّ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ يَرْعَى الصَّلَاةَ، كَتَبَ لَهُ كَاتِبُهُ - أَوْ كَاتِبَاهُ - بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ، وَالْقَاعِدُ يَرْعَى لِلصَّلَاةِ كَالْقَانِتِ، وَيُكْتَبُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ، مِنْ حَيْثُ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ

✧ When a man purifies himself, then passes to the mosque observing the prayer, his scribe—or his two scribes—writes for him ten good deeds for every step he takes to the mosque. And the one sitting observing the prayer is like the one standing in devotion, and he is written among the praying people, from when he leaves his house until he returns.
