✧ The sun eclipsed on the day Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of God ﷺ, died, so the people thought it eclipsed because of his death. The Prophet ﷺ stood and said: O people, the sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of God; they do not eclipse for the death or life of anyone. When you see that, then hasten to prayer, to the remembrance of God, supplicate, and give charity.
