أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَجِيءَ بِقَدَحٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: قَدَحُ زُجَاجٍ - فَوَضَعَ أَصَابِعَهُ فِيهِ فَجَعَلَ الْقَوْمُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ، فَحَزَرْتُهُمْ مَا بَيْنَ السَّبْعِينَ إِلَى الثَّمَانِينَ. فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ كَأَنَّهُ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for water for wudu', and a vessel with water was brought - I think he said a glass vessel - and he placed his fingers in it. The people began performing wudu', one after another, and I estimated them to be between seventy and eighty. I looked at the water as if it was gushing from between his fingers.
