حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُسْتَمِرٍّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَبِيبٍ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، مُؤَذِّنُ مَسْجِدِ بَنِي رِفَاعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ نَحْوَهُ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

قَالُوا: لِمَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ: " مَا تَصْنَعُ بِهِ ؟ " قَالُوا: تُصَلِّي قَائِمَةً، فَإِذَا أَعْيَتِ اعْتَمَدَتْ عَلَيْهِ، فَحَلَّهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَ: يُصَلِّي أَحَدُكُمْ نَشَاطَهُ فَإِذَا أَعْيَى فَلْيَجْلِسْ

✧ They said: "It belongs to Maymunah bt. al-Harith." He said, "What does she do with it?" They said, "She prays standing, and when she becomes exhausted, she leans on it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ untied it and said, "Let one of you pray as long as he is energetic, and when he becomes exhausted, let him sit."
