أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ:

كَانَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ " يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنَ الْإِنَاءِ وَالْهِرَّةُ تَشْرَبُ مِنْهُ. وَقَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " الْهِرَّةُ مِنْ مَتَاعِ الْبَيْتِ

✧ Abū Qatādah used to perform ablution from a vessel while a cat was drinking from it. ʿIkrimah said: Abū Hurayrah said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "The cat is part of the household belongings."
