machine translationThere is a disagreement about Shuʿbah. ʿUmar b. Ḥakkām narrated it from Shuʿbah, saying: from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Ḥārith, from ʿAlī. Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān and others contradicted him; they narrated it from Shuʿbah, from Abū Isḥāq, from Ḥārithah, from ʿAlī. ʿUmar b. Abī Zāʾidah, the brother of Zakariyyā, narrated it from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Barāʾ. The sound (ṣaḥīḥ) one is the ḥadīth of Ḥārithah.
