أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ الْقَيْسِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَثَبَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ، فَإِذَا مَنَعُوهُمَا أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَنْ دَعُوهُمَا، فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ وَضَعَهُمَا فِي حِجْرِهِ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي فَلْيُحِبَّ هَذَيْنِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying, and when he prostrated, al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn would jump on his back. When some people tried to stop them, he gestured to them: Leave them. When he finished the prayer, he placed them in his lap and said: Whoever loves me, let him love these two.
