✧ I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a circle when a man came and greeted the Prophet ﷺ and the people, saying, 'As-salamu 'alaykum.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Wa 'alaykum as-salam wa rahmat Allah wa barakatuh (And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah and His blessings).' When he sat down, he said, 'Al-hamdu lillah hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fihi kama yuhibbu rabbuna wa yarda (Praise be to Allah, much good and blessed praise as our Lord loves and is pleased with).' The Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'What did you say?' He repeated to the Prophet ﷺ what he had said. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'By Him in whose hand is my soul, ten angels raced to it, each eager to write it down, but they did not know how to write it. So they referred it to the Possessor of Might, may His mention be exalted, and He said: Write it as My servant said.'
