أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْبَلْخِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ

لَقِيتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ فِي الطَّوَافِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَرَأَ الْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ»

✧ I met Abu Mas'ud during tawaf and asked him about it. He narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever recites the two verses from the end of Surah al-Baqarah in a night, they will suffice him."
