✧ "The parable of the believer who recites the Qur'an is like the citron: its taste is good and its fragrance is good. The parable of the believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like the date: its taste is good but it has no fragrance. The parable of the wicked person who recites the Qur'an is like the sweet basil: its fragrance is good but its taste is bitter. The parable of the wicked person who does not recite the Qur'an is like the colocynth: its taste is bitter and it has no fragrance."
