✧ Description of Paradise and its inhabitants

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِائَةَ دَرَجَةٍ أَعَدَّهَا اللَّهُ لِلْمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ بَيْنَ الدَّرَجَتَيْنِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُ اللَّهَ فَاسْأَلُوهُ الْفِرْدَوْسَ فَهُوَ أَوْسَطُ الْجَنَّةِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَفَوْقَهُ الْعَرْشُ وَمِنْهُ تَفَجَّرُ أَنْهَارُ الْجَنَّةِ»

✧ In Paradise there are one hundred degrees that God has prepared for the mujahidin in His path; between two degrees is as between the heaven and the earth. So when you ask God, ask for al-Firdaws, for it is the middle of Paradise and the highest of Paradise, and above it is the Throne, and from it the rivers of Paradise gush forth.
