✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying in a private conversation on the Day of Judgment, "Indeed, Allah will bring the believer close to Him on the Day of Judgment until He places His shield over him, covering him from the people. Then He will say, 'Do you recognize this sin and that sin?' The believer will say, 'Yes, my Lord.' Then He will say, 'Do you recognize this sin and that sin?' The believer will say, 'Yes, my Lord.' Until when Allah has made him acknowledge his sins and he thinks within himself that he has deserved punishment, Allah will say, 'I concealed them for you from the people, and today I forgive them for you.' He will be given a book of good deeds. But as for the disbelievers and hypocrites, the witnesses will say, 'These are the ones who lied about their Lord. May the curse of Allah be upon the wrongdoers.'"
